On behalf of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Republican Assembly (WRA), an Alliance for Life, Liberty & Justice, we write to express our strong opposition to Assembly Bill 43 (AB43) and to respectfully urge you to vote NO should this bill come before the Senate.
AB43 seeks to authorize pharmacists to prescribe contraceptives—effectively removing essential medical oversight and undermining the moral, ethical, and parental responsibilities that should remain central in such personal and often life-altering decisions. This bill promotes a dangerous shift in authority from families and medical professionals to the state, sacrificing accountability for convenience.
We believe this legislation is not only medically unsound but socially and morally harmful. It threatens to further erode the role of parents, families, and faith-based values in shaping the health and well-being of future generations.
We urge you to stand firm and join those Assembly members who courageously voted No—defending the integrity of medical practice, the rights of parents, and the foundational values that define our state and nation.
The Wisconsin Republican Assembly exists to champion Life, Liberty, and Justice for all, and we are watching closely as this bill advances. Your decision matters deeply—not just to us, but to countless Wisconsin families who want to see God, order, and responsibility restored in our governance.
