The following Statement is written by the Wisconsin Republican Assembly an Alliance for Life, Liberty & Justice LLC ~ Reflecting on the Assassination of Charles James Kirk
With profound sorrow, the Wisconsin Republican Assembly an Alliance for Life, Liberty & Justice mourns the loss of Charlie Kirk. First and foremost a Christian man, a passionate and tireless voice in the conservative movement, an advocate for free speech, and a leader who inspired many toward civic participation and political engagement.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University during a Turning Point USA event. This senseless act has left a wound in our nation and in the family of faith that cherishes the dignity of every human life. His sudden death is a tragedy for his family, friends, supporters, and for all who believe in the right of Americans to speak and gather without fear of violence.
We remember Charlie as a devoted husband and father, a passionate advocate for freedom of speech, and a patriot who dedicated his life to advocating for liberty, conservative values, and honest thought-provoking conversations with young people. His work challenged many, inspired many more, and his voice will not be silenced. Though he is gone, his ideals endure. May his family find peace, and may we all be reminded of the fragile gift, that is the freedom of expression, he defended with courage.
In this moment of sorrow, we pray for God’s peace to surround Erika Kirk, their two precious children, and all who loved him. We share in your grief. No words can erase the pain, but we stand in solidarity with you and hold Charlie’s memory with reverence.
The Wisconsin Republican Assembly stands with solemn condemnation of the violent assassination of Charlie Kirk. The murder of any individual for their beliefs, speech, or political ideals is an offense to our Republic, our laws, and the dignity of our society. Such violence is utterly incompatible with the values of justice, life, liberty, and the peaceful exchange of ideas. Murder is a violation of the Sixth Commandment and an insult to the sanctity of life that Christians and people of conscience must defend. We unequivocally denounce this act of hatred and we call for swift, thorough, and transparent law enforcement action.
We ask our members and fellow citizens to honor Charlie’s memory by praying for his family, seeking justice through lawful means, and continuing civil, courageous witness for truth and righteousness. We also pray that the Lord will bring healing to a polarized society and turn hearts away from violence, embracing repentance and reconciliation.
With Respect and Admiration,
WRA an Alliance for Life, Liberty & Justice LLC
Charlie Kirk said, “I would like to be remembered for Courage for my Faith. That would be the Most Important thing.
All Life Deserves Protection!
God is Not Done with this Country.
You are all working for something Bigger than You!”
May Charlie’s soul rest in the arms of our Lord, and may his family be upheld by the comfort and strength that only Christ provides.
